Nestled in The Bottom Field at Valetta, once the home of the late Burl Wigley. The Gower Bird Hospital, founded by Simon & Karen Kingsnorth is now a well respected charity.
The dedication of Karen and Simon and the workers who help them is Nationally recognised. Their work with wild birds and all creatures great and small for that matter is testament to their commitment to all animals.

ReplyDeleteHe (and his family at the time, Anne, Marcy + Wenny) were among the people I would call good friends, and I like to think he would be happy to see Valetta being put to its current use.
